How do you choose a running coach?
Start with your project: discovering running, preparing for a distance or rebuilding a routine. Then review the stated experience, coaching approach, languages and format. Remote support and an in-person session serve different needs. Listed profiles and availability depend on the coaches currently in the directory.
What should you check before booking?
Read what the service includes, its price, appointment length and displayed conditions. Explain what you want: a single conversation, a plan or ongoing support, depending on what the coach actually offers. An approved profile is not equivalent to every certification: check the credentials and statuses displayed on the profile.
Human coaching, a plan and AI Coach are different offerings
A coach’s service is the offering you choose from that coach. A CoachRunning subscription provides site features according to the tier. Coaching clients take out their own subscription to use AI Coach; quotas and consent requirements still apply. Do not assume a booking automatically includes AI access or unlimited support.
Your questions
What if no coach matches my filters?
Adjust your filters or check the directory again later. An empty list does not mean another coach is available elsewhere on the site; availability is not guaranteed.
Do I have to make all my activities public?
No. A coaching relationship and sharing permissions are separate from a public publication. Review the requested information and consent choices before accepting them.
